Quite chuffed, considering we were standing way back (moshpits are not for the over 30's), these have come out pretty good..

After years like a neglected unfed puppy, I have dusted off my ol' blog as some days 140 characters just ain't enough. Am I older? Definitely. Wiser? Hell no? Grumpier? Quite possibly. But read on anyway...

Forgot to mention..
Was feeling a bit jittery after the Foo Fighters gig the other day as I no longer had any gig tickets, no concert to look forward to. This was the first time in years that I had no gig to look forward to and it felt odd. Thankfully we have now booked (for comedy value) to see Lordi in the Academy this October. Ticketsheister (http://www.ticketmaster.co.uk) tried to tell us that it was sold out, but thankfully TicketLine (http://www.ticketline.co.uk) had tickets ready to buy. So cry "Hard Rock Hallelujah!". We're off to see the mad Eurovision winners.
Also realised this is the first gig I shall be going to as a married man - a weird thought indeed!!

I have two spare tickets for the Foo Fighters gig at Lancashire Cricket Ground on Sunday 18th June 2006 (I believe The Killers are supporting as well as other, as yet unconfirmed, acts).
Now, I could put these on eBay but I'd rather sell to someone who's a friend and a fan so I'm giving the peeps who pop in here every now and then first dibs on the tix (at face value, of course).
If you buy them we could meet up for a beer whilst Dave Grohl does his thing on stage, but this is not a condition of sale.. ;)
